Two Injured In Crash On 405 Freeway In Long Beach - NewsBreak

LONG BEACH (CBSLA) – Two people were sent to a hospital after a crash on the 405 Freeway in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday. Firefighters and paramedics were sent to the southbound freeway at the Cherry Avenue exit at about 11 p.m. Friday, where they used the “Jaws of Life” to extract three people from the wreckage, the Long Beach Fire Department reported. Paramedics rushed two of those three people to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

22-year-old Fallon Montanucci killed after a head-on collision in Minden (Minden, NV)

Authorities identified 22-year-old Fallon Montanucci, of Gardnerville, as the woman who lost her life following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday in Minden. The fatal car crash took place shortly after 4 a.m. on U.S. 395 and Airport Road. According to the investigation reports, the driver of a silver 2020 Ford F-150 pickup was going the wrong way in the southbound lane when it collided head-on with a 2017 Hyundai Accent, driven by Montanucci. Fallon Montanucci succumbed to her injuries at the scene. On arrival, emergency personnel rescued and airlifted a passenger in Montanucci’s car by Care Flight to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was also flown by Care Flight to a hospital. Impairment and speed are suspected to have contributed to the accident. No other details are available.
