5 people, including a juvenile died after a two-vehicle accident on US 287 in Armstrong County (Armstrong County, TX)

Five people, including a juvenile lost their lives following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Armstrong County.

As per the initial information, the deadly head-on crash took place at around 4:30 p.m. on US 287 near County Road 9. The early reports showed that a sedan and a pickup truck were involved in the collision. The early reports showed that a white Chevrolet passenger car was heading west in the eastbound lanes on US 287 when it crashed into a pickup head-on.

Two people in the pickup truck died and two adults and one child in the car were killed as well in the wreck. East and westbound lanes of traffic was moving on the shoulders. The identities of the victims have not been released. No other details are available.

The accident remains under investigation.

Officials identified 19-year-old Joshua Adonai Manzanares, of Lake Elsinore, as the teenager who was killed following a suspected DUI crash Monday night near Torrey Pines State Beach in La Jolla. The fatal car accident took place on North Torrey Pines Road just after 11 p.m. Joshua Adonai Manzanares was one of four passengers in a 2020 Subaru WRX that was going at a high rate of speed on the southbound side of North Torrey Pines Road. According to the authorities, the Subaru was being driven by another 19-year-old boy when, for undetermined reasons, he lost control of the car and struck the center median before smashing through a guardrail. Due to the impact, Manzanares and another passenger were thrown from the sedan as it went over the ledge, hit multiple rocks, and came to a stop on the beach.
