Car Crash On 55 Freeway 4 Car Pile Up Stalls Traffic For Miles - Santa Ana

Santa Ana , CA — According to police reports early Wednesday morning at least one person was injured in a four-car crash on the 55 freeway traveling south in Santa Ana .



Highway Patrol reports the status of the injured person is not known. 

The 4 car crash was reported at 7:58 a.m. near Dyer Road and resulted in stalled traffic for about a six miles stretch on the 55 freeway. 

As of 8:14 a.m., the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert and advised residents to avoid the area.
