Traffic impacted after a crash in Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Traffic was delayed following a motor vehicle accident in Tucson.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at the intersection of La Cholla Boulevard and West River Road. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved, and if anyone was injured as a result of the crash.

The westbound lanes of River Road at La Cholla were shut down while crews worked at the scene. Traffic would be delayed, and drivers were urged to seek alternate routes. Authorities have not provided any further details pertaining to the crash.

An investigation is underway.

Authorities identified 22-year-old Fallon Montanucci, of Gardnerville, as the woman who lost her life following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday in Minden. One person suffered injuries after getting struck by a vehicle in Las Vegas. As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place on the east side of the valley, at Warm Springs and Burnham a little before 2:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.
